SCYSS Family Getaway is an educational weekend break of fun activities for children, young people and their parents/carers.
SCYSS Family Getaway
It is an opportunity for parents/cares and children to build friendships and support networks in a recreational setting, while clinicians and health and wellbeing officers provide information updates on latest research, treatment, support available for young stroke survivors and parents/carers in a non-clinical environment.
It will feature the following activities:
Welcome dinner and registration and Entertainment/Bravery Award
Formal talks
Breakaway sessions
Young people’s activities of many varieties
Leisure, me time – massage, free spa treatment/planned activities including sailing
Dinner and dance
